My 2001 Grand Marquis just recently started knocking and sum may think that I thrown a rod. What is the cheapest thing I can do to get this fixed

My friend has a Crown Vic that my husband is working on. Her heater won't work. It blows out cold air constantly. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks!!

One of the most likely problems when a heater stops working is a bad thermostat. This is relatively inexpensive to fix.
