I have started to experiece a noise from the rear wiper on my 2003 Forester in cold weather. The noise occurs as the wiper reaches the end of its travel at both ends. It sounds as though the gearing needs lubrication. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a simple solution? I have removed the rear gate cover and inspected the unit but the gearbox does not seem to have any opening for adding any lubricant.
