I am in the process of repairing a 07 Kia Sportage LX 4 WD. I have replaced air bag on wheel and seat belts. My question is I don't know where the air bag control module is located. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jerry Replies to this message: bshults (Dec 09, 2008 4:48 pm)

Replying to: jerome26 (Oct 19, 2008 9:17 am) ACMs are usually found under the driver seat or the passenger seat (on the floor). They can be really hard to get at for removal. Sometimes carpet has to be cut, and awkward bolts need to be removed. More rare: Some ACMs are hidden in the center console.... Hopefully your user manual can help you find it.... If not, try using Ebay to order a cheap shop manual for the vehicle, this almost always tell the exact location of the ACM.
