The looks are debatable. The front and rear views don't seem to gel. (Need to see it in person to finally decide) But the car is slow! Handling is important but acceleration is just as important. It's competing with Infiniti M35/45, Lexus LS, BMW 7 series, Audi A8, MB S series- all of which are in the 0-60 mph in ~6 second range or faster. The RL's AWD is welcome but now available on the TL which has gotten larger. As the author points out the TL is going to cannibalize the RL sales even more.

As far as I know, the TL is available with SHAwd.
And I think thre RL competes against the A6, the 530, MB E350?
At least from the size and price level.
Maybe I am wrong.

I think Acura's design staff should be promptly fired. The new styling theme (if one can call it that) is horrid. The previous TSX, TL, and RL were all elegant and timeless in their design. The new chrome razor blade front end look undoubtedly identifies all of the vehicles as Acuras -- profoundly ugly Acuras. I wouldn't have one in my driveway.
