Acceleration Problem

I have a 1997 why when I go to take off my accelerates by itself, I thught the throttle was dirty and I checked that and that was fine. So I have no clue what would make the car do that. It is getting scary now because it takes off so fast I am scared I will loose control. Ihave disconnected the cruise control and it still does it. Can anyone help me with this problem?
