Silicon Valley International Auto Show happens Jan. 8 through the 11th.   If you go to the Motor Trend auto show site, and put RIDER in the optional promo code, you can get the $9 ticket for $4 off. (or so says FatWallet.com).   There's a free subscription to Motor Trend you can snag too with each ticket order.

As you can imagine the thriving metropolis of Harrisburg does not get the concept vehicles. heck, they don't even have the pretty models to stand next to the vehicles. We get Larry the Cable Guy instead.   This auto show is run by the Harrisburg regional dealerships. So it's more of a way for dealers to bring in customers. I think it runs the last week in January. It's the only way they'll allow someone like me to sit in Mercedes S-class without alerting security.

The Philadelphia Auto Show starts Saturday, January 31st!   I wonder if they're still going to have the black tie event on the Friday night prior?
