Replying to: 4wheelpilot (Nov 29, 2008 7:32 pm) The base brakes on the 05 and later G35's are very grippy, there is enough braking force to lock a sticky compound racing tire even under the most grippy conditions. however my experience is with street and auto-cross which is 1-2 minutes of extreme driving followed by a 5-10 minute pit, on the street you would never find the limit unless you were running from the law! The only time the larger brakes would be an advantage would be on a rack track (lap days etc) where you beating the brakes lap after lap.
