I'm considering a Mazda5 and it's leading the pack (against a CR-V and a Forester), but I'm concerned that it's a bit underpowered. I'm not a leadfooted speed freak, but a little more HP and Torque would be nice. Apparently there are some turbo kits for the 3 that will work on the 5 and some people have put on custom headers. But these can get pretty expensive. The HiBoost kit is 4 grand, not including labor. The tornado air intake mods at the low end of the spectrum (like the $69 "Turbonator") have been regularly debunked by respectable sources. Anyone know (and tried) ways to add a little more Zoom Zoom without voiding the warranty or wasting money on junk science? Replies to this message: coolmazda5 (Oct 04, 2008 4:06 am)
