It is one of my favorite features on my vehicle and has come in handy during downpours of rain! I have set the 3/4 height to be just above my head, as my husband and I are almost the exact same height. Needless to say I highly recommend this feature for anyone who is looking for a NOX with "extras".

I've got about 10,000 miles on my 4cyl 1LT AWD now, and I would agree with about 95% of your assessment (Including your XM be damned comment) I was a long-time XM subscriber, but dumped them when most of the stations I listened to went away when they merged with Sirius. Instead of an Ipod, I got a Slacker G2 internet radio player - and I don't miss XM at all.

Replying to: cusefan (Nov 24, 2009 2:09 pm) I don't have the USB interface, but I can certainly understand your complaint. I wonder if the USB interface is firmware upgradeable? If so, this should be something that GM can correct (if enough people complain about it). Call GM to complain about it, and talk to your dealer periodically, to see if any firmware updates are available.

XM has kept me for a year, they keep offering me 3 more months for $15 ($5/mo).   I like it but it's not worth $15/mo.   We shall see how long they keep extending my deal. I'll let you know what happens. My 3 months is up next week.   If it's gone, it's gone. My MP3 player has 100 CDs on it so I won't miss it that much.

After a lot of headaches in finally getting one, I closed the deal on my Equinox on Thursday 12/3.   Its Black Granite (looks Gray in direct sunlight), 2LT AWD, Sunroof, leather seats and chrome package...   It drives better than any car I have ever owned, including a Volvo and a Mercedes. It handles the potholes on Chicago streets with NO problems... Its quiet. The seats are very supportive. The 4 cylinder is very responsive...   I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a attractive, yet functional ride..
