Has anyone heard of "frame beaming".

Below is a blog I copied from consumeraffairs.com (and the link to it) and it describes my truck to a T. My truck only has 40k miles on it, but I've had it. My dealership also meantioned that this model, which is a crew-cab, has some flex to it.

I bought a new 2006 gmc truck ,it developed a shake early on , I took it back to the dealer several times they put 6 more new tires on it ,but it continued to shake . They would not put a different brand of tires on it as I requested. They said it didn't hurt the safety or the value of my truck, but I told them I didn't know anyone that would buy a truck that shook. They are now in the process of buying the truck back under the KY lemon law. I just wanted to warn other people about this. The GMC rep. said it was a condition called frame beaming, so I guess if they can give it a name they feel they don't have to fix it. How convenient . I was so upset with GMC I would have never thought I would of had a problem like this. I will never buy from them again .

2005 GMC 2500HD Frame Beaming

I had the problem from day one, with vibration between 45 and 60 miles per hour. Tried everything, so did the dealer. I found they had a fix (GM), but failed to let anyone know. It was simple, took an hour for my Dealer which they did out of warrenty for free ( have a good dealer). They have a replacement for the cab, body mounts if you can believe that. And it worked like a charm. My 3/4 ton 4x4 extended cab rides perfect. Only took three years of searching and a call to my dealer. They sould be able to look up the replacement parts and get everyone taken care of with this problem. Below are the part numbers

Upper Mount 25791031 Qty 2

Lower Mount 25791032 Qty 2

Washer 15854745 Qty 4
