Has anyone else had a problem w/ their Sienna producing a "hot glue gun or melting" smell from under the hood? Nothing is smoking, nothing showing up on the dash. Any ideas?

You probably ran over a garbage bag and it's stuck on your exhaust.

I too have had that issue and found that it was oil dripping on the exhaust. Valve cover gasket needed replacement.

I have the exact same problem with a 1998 Sienna, it just started at 110,000 miles I get he oil changed every 3000K. SO Many things have gone wrong with this model I will never again buy Toyota.
