I'm about to buy a 2002 A4 (3.0), 90K miles. Great condition. Any advice from Audi owners with same model? Anything I should be on the lookout for? And do i buy a warranty??? Replies to this message: ramonc (Oct 21, 2008 10:10 am)

The time, effort and money to keep Audis in proper running order is way beyond normal. They overcharge for parts and labor exceeding any others for the quality of parts. This model A4 with high mileage will probably need a new timing belt. That alone is over 1500 bucks. Any brake repair will cost you plenty. Even with an extended guarantee you will have to pay for rental cars and expect to have a few rental. STAY AWAY FROM USED AUDI'S. I soon will also be a former, and unhappy, Audi owner. They do not respond to customers needs and complaints.They have better lawyers than mechanics and engineers. Good luck.
