Have a 02 Envoy with a few problems. My wife called and said no lights on A/C and only hot air comes out of the defroster. I know my ambient temp sensor is bad, would this cause a problem? I am going home to check all the fuses when I get off from work.Also two other annoying problems.
1. If the driver or passenger door is open when I crank up the engine, the buzzer dings unless I stop the engine, have the door open, turn the headlights on to change to a fast ding, and then back off. If I crank it up with all doors closed, it never happens. WTF!
2. It never fails when I get in and the driver memory adjusts to either driver one or two the mirrors are NEVER right, you always have to adjust. Anybody got any ideas, is there a potentiometer that is out in one of the circuits or soomething? Hit me up with any ideas otherwise I will continue to live with the annoying problems unless I decide to sell.

I have an 02 Envoy SLT. Bought it used in 2004 and never had any major problems until my engine bagan to stall recently. Sounds like it is revving really high and drives very sluggishly. Auto computer read-out say it's the HIGH SPEED FAN. Where is that and what would it take to fix it? I have had some of the other minor irritations mentioned in the other forums, mirrors need to be reset every time I get in, headlamp wipers would spray everytime vehicle started ( removed the relay, did not want to wet anyone), and when my battery died, I could not get my key out of the ignition. I am thankful for the forum. Otherwise, I really enjoy the Envoy.- All Messages Displayed
