I am taking our 03 Murano SL AWD in for the third time to address the gear shifter sticking and will not move. The dealer has replaced the solenoid twice and the shifter works for 2-3 days and then sticks. This time the service rep says he is going to let their "master mechanic" look at it. Has anyone else had this problem and know of a fix?Thanking you in advance for your reponse!

I had this problem. They had to replace the shift lock assembly...i think? It was surely related to that. In the mean time, you can take a small flat head screwdrivier down the shift lock hole next to your shifter. This will release the lockining mechanism and allow you to shift it. Either way, You will have to get the dealer to replace the part. I think I paid about $500.00. Hope this hepls
