Replying to: pk306 (Dec 22, 2008 9:04 pm) my tracker (2004 ZR-2) just started doing the samething.. before i read this thread i was out lastnight and i was 99% sure it was the rear door switch. when i had the door open and i was able to press the switch all the way in the light would go out.. but with the door closed it wouldnt stay out. and it was a pain when i was driving.. So since i was hundreds of miles from home with no tools i removed the dome light bulbs to not drain the battery..

I have a 2003 ZR2 and the battery will go dead in a couple of days of no use. I have checked and there is a drain on the battery of 0.7 amps with everything shut off. I found if I pull the Dome lites/Radio fuse the drain drops to almost 0. I looked at a schematic and it shows there is also the powertrain control module on this curcuit. Does anyone know if the radio or powertrain control module can cause a current draw with the ignition switch off? If I leave the dome lite/ radio fuse out the battery stays charged. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks
