It would become a race to see who can find the monthly-sales press release first, I think. There just isn't that much going on saleswise on the day-to-day basis to keep people engaged.   And just to note: I'd stand to do well "financially" by keeping it as is, as every last stock is overvalued based on the sales standard and my only investments are shorts.

Replying to: mikedrud (Sep 02, 2008 1:26 pm) I think your assessment is accurate. The way the game is set up fosters day trading strategies if you're trying to win a monthly prize. Once I got past the arbitrary valuation of the stocks, the game turned out to be fun. I have however given up much hope of ever winning a prize because I don't usually have the time during the day to maximize my profits. I'm interested in seeing what changes y'all are cooking up.

I am anticipating today around 2:00pm - 5:00pm Pacific, but I won't commit to that until we are done with testing the new data. With everybody flush with cash and no (or few) volume going to go through the roof as people try to get back in the market. I predict some IPO-type volume (and corresponding prices) on some unlikely stocks.   WHEEEEEE!!!!!
