Replying to: bradyholt (Sep 02, 2008 1:17 pm) Point taken. We are looking at the game holistically to see how we can improve it. I will have more info on this soon. I think that the game allows for a lot of day-trading and short-term profit strategies and doesn't operate as a true prediction market, and that is at the heart of the problem. We will address this issue, because it has caused a lot of frustration among those who follow the game closely. I am also interested to see what will happen from here on out with some stocks retiring each month too. That will also help us further improve the game.

On the retired stocks, will you be reconciling one at a time, or will we see everything all at once?

Replying to: kabrimm (Sep 04, 2008 8:33 am) We are testing the changes now. Before we "change-over", I will post a note both here and on the "Stocks" page. I am anticipating today around 2:00pm - 5:00pm Pacific, but I won't commit to that until we are done with testing the new data. At the latest it will be first thing tomorrow morning. More later... Mike
