Between this sludge problem and the trannys...older RX's can really turn out to be a huge money pit. If I hear back Tuesday, I'll let you guys know what the 2nd mechanic says. I'm afraid I get this thing fixed and either it happens again or the trans goes out. Are the 330's and 350's much better? It sounds like it, but I want to make sure before buying. I'm talking to one dealer on a 07 RX350 that seems like a good deal....after Tuesday I'll make a decision one way or the other. Man...Lexus is a nice ride, but I thought the quality control was much better (at least back when I got the 2002 at the end of 2004). Are the RX350's worth it?
