I think the transmission is just reacting to whats going on with engine. You may be able to get an ide by having it scanned at somewhere like autozone for codes on the SES light. Replying to: ray80 (Aug 30, 2008 5:37 am) Appreciate the response. Last night while driving home I took my foot off the gas when I hit 40mph and it hit 50mph before I applied the break...NO CRUISE CONTROL on pretty level pavement. Just frustrating.
