How does the DIC electronic tire presure get it's reading from the tires?

It gives the actual pressure in each tire, which is neat by micweb

Prospective buyers should know that the Cobalt will actually read out the pressure in each tire, not just sound a warning if you lose pressure below the factory recommended minimum. Since I like to keep my tires inflated to 35 psi (cold reading) this helps a lot. On my other cars I still have to periodically check pressure to make sure I am there - the other cars will warn if I am below 28 psi (factory recommendation) but that's all.
