Todays IPO was pretty different than the norm . The volume was relatively low and the initial buy/short swings were relatively shallow. I'm not sure retiring stocks will have as much of an impact in future months, but it seems there isn't nearly as much loose cash laying around anymore.

This week is the exception, I think, everybody is trying to tie up as many short positions as possible and didn't want to slip from holding high profit shorts to low profit shorts...I through $500K into the IPO and came out with $1M...so I can't complain...

Yeah, I didn't have much cash either, but I hit early (maybe even first) on the MLRT and made quite a bit. It was interesting to see the volume and price swings moving at half or slower than the normal speed.

An hour into the new IPO and I'm personally responsible for about 20% of the shares traded. I didn't have much cash to start with. I wonder how much wealth is currently frozen and what will happen once it isn't.

Well, todays IPO was a good ol' fashioned multi-million share brawl like the old days. Congrats to shin107 with a really nice gain. Heck, even me and bg96 made it into the top 50 on this one.

With so much cash out there and CHEAP issues, I knew it would be a mad house. I got killed, actually.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks.. but, I'm thinking about giving up this month since xbox 20gb is twice cheaper than ps3 80gb. lol
Mike, can you consider to add more games of xbox for this month prize? To motivate players work hard on csx.

It was crazy after retired stocks posted. I thought it's an error.

We don't have a separate data page like that blog post, although now it seems like a great idea.

We only update that list every month, so I'll create a link to that blog post (and future ones) from our Stocks page here on out.
