If we get that. If Ford sells the Fiesta Titinium for 19K don't you think alot of Mini buyers would be taking a second look? Same engine 1.6 liter . Ford is giving us a car that has been in untested waters. So, I can't switch from a proven model.

And yes, the short 5th gear will make for high revs at Interstate Hwy speeds. This car is not meant to be a long distance cruiser. It is a city/urban car. Keep it under 70mph and it should be fine (3K on the tach or less). |

The Aveo stinks almost as bad as the Yaris, the Accent isn't bad but lacks many safety features such as ABS in most cases. Good enough reasons? Most subcompacts in the US that aren't named Mini compromise a lot (and the Mini is significantly more expensive than the rest). The Fiesta may be the least-compromise subcompact out there.

And since the least expensive 2010 Ford Focus S sedan you can buy will cost $16,690..." But the in the UK the Fiesta starts at 72% of the starting price of the Focus, so I would be surprised if in the US they start at 97% of Focus price. http://www.ford.co.uk/Cars |
