Didnt I mention This in my prior Post

"you are right , the model i compared has a 3.5 engine.
Its the engine displacements which are identical 3.78 in C300 vs 3.8 in the hyundai's"

I wonder If you even Read This

I mentioned clearly the word "Displacement"

For the last time, you are comparing apples to oranges, Hyundai's 3.8L displacement is measured in cc, as in cubic centimeter - 3,778, while the same method of measurement results in Chrysler's 3.5L at 3,518 cc. Big difference there.

Here is what you did - comparing cubic centimeters to inches, which yes, the Chrysler's 3.5L is 3.78 inches, but the two measurements are not interchangeable. Hyundai's 3.8L when you actually convert to inches, on the same basis as the figure you've been advertising re: Chrysler, is nowhere near the 3.8. Got it?

Bottom line, displacement size for 3.5L Chrysler and Toyota/Lexus (for example) are similar; but much different on both vs. the 3.8L Hyundai engine. Even if the 3.8L and 3.5L were somehow similar, so?

It's not "opinions." Facts are facts, and satyrag is just plain wrong. And the bad part is the information is right in his face from the same page he referenced! The Chrysler 3.5L engine is not now nor has it ever been 3.78L. "Somebody" just needs to learn how to read engine specs. We're not attacking the guy, just trying to keep very bad/incorrect information from being spread around.

I have read all the posts now.
My opinion is he is not wrong with the link shown.
Just how you see at it.
It really says displacement and stop policing others posts.
he even admitted his mistake in one post

This attitude of correcting is what drives new drivers away from edmunds forums.

and now I am judging you hows that feel

Hi satyarg,

Just ignore some posters when they make it personal.
I advice you because i really enjoyed some of your remarks and showed it to my kids probably you are also young like them . They felt your posts were hilarious.

it was you which drew me to this thread otherwise I would normally not stick around.

Personally I do not think any posts were offensive and neither you were wrong.
Just Taylor and Joe didn't understand the rather witty remarks by you.

I do get It. Keep posting

... It really says displacement...

So do these:

Engine - Displacement - Cubic Inches 214.7
Engine - Displacement - Cubic Centimeters 3518
Engine - Displacement - Bore [in] 3.78
Engine - Displacement - Stroke [in] 3.19

And now that I look at it, he had to have intentionally chosen the wrong thing just to be funny. He has to be pulling our legs! Otherwise, why would he bother to pick the bore and not the stroke? Good one, satyrag! You had us going!!
