| My 2007 TB has a brake malfunction that is extremely dangerous. While driving with or without cruise, dry or wet pavement the vehicle thinks there is a skid condition and applies the brakes. NO warning. We have involved GM engineers and other professional resources and they admit this is a problem that seems to be occuring mostly in the newest models but they really don't know what is wrong. They are guessing new software is needed but won't be available for many weeks. IF that is the problem. GM and the dealer refuse to do anything about it til then and wants us to drive the car as is. It is a lease. To end this lease, they want us to pay GMAC $7000 cause the vehicle is a piece of you-know-what and even they are unable to sell it...can you imagine their liability if these vehicles flip or get rear-ended when these brakes automatically come on with no warning to the driver? My suggestion to anyone is do NOT buy this vehicle. Our only option is to keep the stupid thing til the end of the lease, buy a used car that will be safe to drive in the meantime and then never, never deal with GM again. | |
