Depending on your perspective, the introduction of any permutation of a trucklike thing these days could be a blessing or a curse for an automaker. It comes as no surprise that the full-size pickup truck market is shrinking at a rate related inversely to fuel prices, and adding to the glut of truck choices helps this situation not one bit. So. Has anybody actually seen one of these truck for sale on a lot or did GM's finical problems put this on the back burner. |

| I didn't see you mention one of the most important decision making points and that is the added price. What is the cost penalty for the hybrid system compared to its non-hybrid counterpart? You mentioned it may be the same mark up as it is for the Tahoe/Yukon hybrid but what is it? Also, I didn't see the fuel economy numbers for the non-hybrid version to tell us how much better the hybrid version is. | |
