The winshield in my EOS cracked rather oddly. . .after driving with the roof down for several hours, I put the roof up and went into a building for about 15 minutes. When I got back in the car i noticed a crack starting from center top point of the windshield coming down straight behind the review mirror and then turning off towards the drivers side. . it all seems very strange and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?. . it seems like a defect to me?. . opinions welcome.

Your experience does sound like it is related to a defect. Was your windshield hit by anything? I was surprised when my windshield cracked as well. It was hit by a rock kicked up by a truck but not with any great force. The large crack developed some time later after driving about 15 miles. It will be interesting to see what others have experienced.
