I have a soft cargo bag and dont want to go to the expence of a roof rack to attach it to, does anyone know of any tie downs that would work with the factory attachment points? Thanks

How do the Yakima and Thule roof racks available for the Mazda 5 compare? The Yakima appears to be more portable but heavier. The Thule is smaller and fits into some existing fittings. However it appears to be a bit of a task to take the Thule off and on. Since I want wide racks, taking them on and off is pretty important. One Thule rep was concerned that the threads would be easily stripped with repeated mountings and removals. Any ideas? Replies to this message: 5_more (Aug 29, 2008 6:06 am)
