Where is the oil filter located? What is the best brand replacment oil filter to use? How much oil is needed? Where can I find a 2008 maintenance manual other than the official Toyota manual that costs $140+?

Best Brand, Factory Toyota filters, they only cost $4.00 each (online)
Oil fill, consult your owners manual, at the back. Generally its 6.5 qts with a new filter (change)
Oil filter is under the engine.
You will need to get an oil filter cap wrench. I believe some dealers sell them for 12.95. its a black cap with a 3/8" drive hole. I am not sure of the size in mm.
You also need a torque wrench.
