does anyone know how to diagnose fuel gauge problems. My gauge does not work but I do not want to drop my fuel tank if I don't have to. I am told the sending unit is probably bad....Thanks.... Replies to this message: bolivar (Aug 02, 2008 2:19 pm)

Replying to: canyonranger (Aug 02, 2008 1:54 pm) Well, I'm not sure. But I think I've seen advice that if you ground the wire to the guage, the guage should move to FULL position. This shows the guage is ok. But, unless you start cutting wires or tear into the dash, you will probably have to drop the tank to get to the wire.
