My 2008 Limited without DVD and Navigation: Question – can I buy the 115v dashboard cut off switch and the 115v / AV outlet and install these into my car, I see that the wiring is all in place, will they work, the AV outlet I don’t care about I just like the idea of having a 115v outlet, it looks like it could come in handy at a tailgate party. What is the purpose of the AV input anyway?

On the AC outlet, you can get better results by simply buying an inverter to plug into the cig/12v power outlet. Here's an example, lots of places have 'em: http://shop1.frys.com/product/5349598?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG The AV input is for using something like showing video camera video thru the DVD player screen. Some notebook computers have a AV output.
