#1 of 2 delay in core refund from Colorado Component Rebulders?

I purchased a crate engine from Colorado Component Rebuilders (CCR) for my 98 Forester 4 1/2 months ago and have still not received my $375 core refund. My mechanic returned the core one week after receiving it. I have called on four separate occasions - I waited more than a month at first to give them time to process - and each time have been told the same thing - you are on the top of our list, due the full refund, and we will send the check to you this Friday. Still no check. They also refused to credit my card the refund even though they charged the card for the purchase price. Anyone else had this same problem? If you did, what was the final outcome?
I know in the greater scheme of things $375 may not be a ton of money. But the engine and the labor cost $6000 and every little bit back helps. The engine runs well; the shipping on both ends was fast and smooth; CCR employees are very polite. I would just like the refund in a timely manner.

Call your credit card company. Don't wait.
If they go bankrupt you lose it all.
