Locking Mechanisms Different? Liftgates '97 and '99 by organfreak

I just got a "new" '97 Astro and the upper lift gate (the back door with the glass in it) is bent at the hinges and so won't close. I bought a matching one from a junkyard from a '99 Astro. The yard's info says it isn't compatible with mine, but they thought that may be a mistake. The difference is, mine has an electric push-button remote release with no keylock. (There is a keylock for the lower doors.) the '99 one has a keylock on the upper. before I go to the hassle of installing this door, I want to know if it will work. Thanks! I don't care which way it locks, as long as it all works.

Oh, and.....there are 2 wires coming out of the hydraulic lift cylinders on both left and right sides on my '97, and the new gate has wires only on the left. What are these, and is this a problem?
