Hi kyreba. I'm glad that you enjoy this site so much. Dealer invoice is as probably a good a deal as you are going to get on a leased Flex right now.

I've got Ford's lease program for your area and I'd be happy to use it to work up a sample lease payment on this vehicle for you. I just need you to provide me with its selling price. If you don't know what the exact selling price is, you can always look up the dealer invoice price of the exact Flex that you want, as you want it equipped, over in the New Vehicle Pricing section of Edmunds.com.

Let me know what the selling price is and I'll crunch some numbers for you.

Greetings austrianbrand. Let me begin by saying that I always advise consumers agains making large down payments on leased vehicles. Those who make them risk losing part or all of them if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered. Even though your monthly payment will be a little higher, you would be much safer going with a zero down lease.

While I don't know its exact dealer invoice price, I suspect that the Flex that you are interested in has a spread of around $2,500 between its full MSRP and invoice. A dealer discount of $2,700 is an excellent deal if it does not include the use of any cash incentives. Ford is not providing any lease cash on this model in your area right now, but it does have some loyalty and conquest cash out there. If the $2,700 that you mentioned includes a $1,000 incentive then this is still a decent deal, but you might be able to skim a couple hundred dollars off of it by comparison shopping.

I have 2 dealers I'm working with - both with the exact same car MSRP of $30,545.

Dealer A is quoting a selling price of $28,660 & Dealer B $27,938. However, both are coming up with a monthly price of $428+tax. "A" says that "B" is playing with numbers on the back end & at their selling price the payment should be $413ish.

It's hard to know who to believe. I do know that "B" is basically giving up all of their holdback (a thing that "A" tries to deny exists).

One last thing, "B" has an ad car with the same MSRP & a selling price of $26,400. It is not my first choice color (or second or third lol) but what would that come out to monthly if I decided to go that way?

Thank you for your help

Hi kyreba. I would be happy to work up a lease payment on any Flex that you are interested in, but in order for me to do so I need you to provide me with some additional information first. This info includes:

the trim level (a detailed description of the vehicle)

MSRP

selling price

how long you want to lease for

what mileage allowance you need

Let me know what these variables are and I'll crunch some numbers.

Thanks Car_man but it's a moot point now.
Although Ford Credit sent me a pre-approval for a new lease they would not honor it when I went in to get the new car. Very disappointing since I make all my payments on time & turn in my cars in excellent condition.
So I've now extended my current lease to build a down payment to purchase another vehicle. It won't be a Flex, it's out of the price range plus I'm not sure I want to be stuck in it for 5 years. I'll probably stick with another Escape since I've already had one for 3 years & know it works for my lifestyle. Although I'm also thinking of looking at an Element or an xB.

Hi,

I'm looking for the latest lease rates and monthly payment estimates for the greater Los Angeles area on a:

2009 Ford Flex SEL FWD
Conv Package
2nd Row 40/40
Cinnamon w/ White two-tone roof
SYNC
12,000 mi per year
36 month lease

Does the current cash rebate (i believe $3,500) still apply if you lease the vehicle as opposed to buying?

Anyone else in the area have any monthly lease payment comparisons? Dealer recommendations?

Thanks for any help provided.
