I removed the oil filter from a 1998 dodge caravan with a 3 ltr engine, to my supprise there is oil in the outside compartment of the filter but the center compartment is almost dry, the old oil is black and dirty, yet the engine ran perfectly, any ideas out there, the vehicle has 149000km. Highwayhawk.
