Then you need to recheck all ends of the cables for connection problems. But check thsoe battery cables. And don't under estimate a bad battery. Replacements are relatively cheap after the first few years of use because the longer you keep it the more likely to have a problem; it's like wearing down tires the last 1/3 of the depth. Sometimes ain't worth it in rain and snow country.

I must admit I was a bit skeptical of your solution, corroded battery cables, to my problem but you were right on the money. The problem has been corrected. Thank you.

The next solution for odd problems is checking the ground buss. There are some ground busses inside the H bodies that can corrode in wet or snow/salt climates.
