Have no power to On Board Diagnostics, so I can't get inspection. Unclear from fuse diagram which fuse is used for this, so I can change it - any ideas? May not be fuse, but it's someplace to start.

Replying to: dgatch (Jul 14, 2008 4:58 pm) I have a similar problem. The background light to the speedometer, tach, and gearshift selector suddenly went out. I can't see how fast I'm driving at night. I've taken the dash apart 6 times, found no loose connections, checked every fuse. Any ideas where to look? Replying to: higgitj (Sep 14, 2009 8:42 am) Sometimes vehicles are purposely wired this way so that the driver gets an immediate warning that one or both brake lamps are burned out. It's probably not the root of your trouble, but it's worth a check.
