If you are still within the limits of Lemon Law do it. If not, try to trade it in. There really is no fix for this faulty design. I did Lemon Law. Good Luck

LOL, yes. It helped some, but it doesn't change the fact that the top isn't secure enough to avoid letting air in at speeds over 50mph. The force of the air crimps the top. Even after a "new one" was installed. Now my windshield rattles and lets ice/water in and the visor clips were broken off. A friend of mine was scalped by her visor when her Jeep rolled, so having swinging visors does not help quiet that fear.

Well I only have 32,000 miles and have the same problem..I am very interested in a class action suit because Everything you said is true and typical of chrysler. So let me know if you follow thru with that. I also have Geico so were they good to work with? and did your insurance premiums go up after your claim?

If you read the manual that comes standard in every jeep liberty, the one in the nice green canvas bag, you will see that it states NOT to take the liberty with the sky slider through a car wash. That in doing so it WILL cause the top to leak. The design is very intricate, and the high pressure of a car was will cause damage to the top. You have now just voided any warranty you would have had for the top. I delt with Chrysler on my top, it jumped off track, they were very accommodating and paid in full for the repair of the top and the parts. You should sit and read the manual before proclaiming that the vehicle sucks. That was you own fault.

My jeep liberty sport did the same thing. Did you ever hear back from Chrysler?

Yes my vehicle was within my state's Lemon Law period and I pursued it and settled with a payoff of my vehicle plus a few thousand for having low miles. If you are within your lemon law period (info in handbook included with purchase) then do it. It absolutely will not get better long term. They know it is a faulty design and will honor it. Playing around with the dealership after your third fix is a waste of everyone's time and efforts. Good Luck.
