The discussion is about what impact gas prices have on you.

A bunch of posts focusing on other people's views, habits, behaviors, etc. have been wiped up with some kerosene.

Well that just begs the question of what impact kerosene prices have on wiping up inappropriate posts?

Revisionist history.

They could have just as well been "kept alive" by selling more small cars. THEY, GM Corporation, got themselves into that mess.

I'm not going to pay one red cent for those pensions.

Well, yeah, you might if GM goes bankrupt because the pensions will default over to the feds. Not the pension they would have gotten but a pension nonetheless.

kerosene prices

I used to buy a gallon of kerosene when I was around 10 or 11 for twenty cents and take my bikes apart and clean the bearing and stuff with it. Now kerosene is around $3.55 a gallon in bulk.

I just used WD-40 in here since it was handy. I think it's mostly denatured kerosene anyway, but the price per gallon for it is close to $15.

Sure you will Lars in Taxes. You are already part of the first bail out and your grandchildren will be paying for that and the next round.

But to answer Steve's chastisement for getting off track, $4.00 gas has no effect on me at the moment.

In case you missed it, the "bailout" was a loan. Taxpayers will get every red cent back.

Sure they will. And our taxes aren't going to go up. And you can trust a politician.
