I have a 2003 T&C Chrysler Van and we live on a dirt road. The interior of the van becomes chokingly dusty after a very short trip on our 1 mile of dirt road. If the windows are closed it helps lessen the dust but doesn't stop it from entering. Where could all the dust be comming from? The vent windows each appear to be closed tightly. All weather stripping around windows & doors are in good shape.

Many/most T&Cs (at least the higher end ones) have a "Pollen Filter" in the HVAC system. Check your airbox under the glove compartment, if it has a door for the filter, check the filter (and change it if it's damaged or clogged). If it doesn't, then your van isn't so equipped.

Either way, while you're driving on the dirt road, make sure you select "Recirculate" mode for your HVAC so that you're not drawing in the fresh (and dusty) air from outside the van. That should help at least a bit.

Best Regards,
Shipo
