#1 of 3 2001 town & country stops accelarating while driving by rajay

My 2001 T&C limited automatic mini van suddenly stops accelarting while driving it.It is getting started gears are shifting to drive and reverse but the car is not moving.Has anyone encountered this type of problem with T&C before?any suggestions what could be the problem?The Car has 93000 miles on it.

I'm not sure what the exact problem is but mine has started to do the same. Mine is the same year and model and same number of miles when it started to happen. We were told it was the transmission but aren't exactly sure what yet. We are taking it tomorrow to be checked out to see what exactly is wrong.

Mechanic says I need a rebuild of the tranny at $1700. But the codes (P0605)suggests it's the Transmission Control Module (Autozone $266). And at another online blog I've read that a product called Sea Form Trans Tune (Autozone $11) and flush service might do the trick. I'm confused and broke and would like to keep the expenses down to a minimum. Any suggestions? Thanks!
