Hello Car Man!!! Looking for Lincoln MKS 2wd w/Ultimate 15k per year 36 month or so... lease factors for November... Very similar to SUnshine26's request. Thanks!!!

I just ordered an MKS with an MSRP of 44,180... invoice price 41178. With tax, title, etc.. and $5000 down my lease will be 526 a month. I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not.

Hi demarcom. I believe that Lincoln extended its lease program on the MKS through November 18th. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Lincoln MKS 2WD with 15,000 miles per year are 1.5% and 51%, respectively. As you can see, Ford Credit publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it leases. You can convert its lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by 2400.

Hi bobsokoler. I see that you are considering making a $5,000 down payment on the MKS that you are interested in leasing. I always advise consumers not to make large down payments when leasing. Those who do risk losing part or all of them if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered. Even though your monthly payment will be higher, it would be much safer to go with a zero down lease.

Just got a lease on an awd with ultimate pkg. 10500 a year 36 mos. Only put taxes, fee's and first month down and am paying $485 a month. Compared to the shopping around this seems to be a good deal.

Hi fituso09. According to the latest information that I have seen, Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Lincoln MKS 2WD with 10,500 miles per year are 4.5% and 53%, respectively.
As you can see, Ford Credit publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it leases. You can convert its published lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by 2400.

Thank you for your response. Does 12k a year change the residual value.
In addition, does a 39 month lease change the money factor or residual.
Thank you.

Feels like I'm one of the few people in the country looking into this car. Tried two dealers so far with different prices:
10,500/miles Ultimate pkg FWD for 585/mo + taxes and fees
12000/miles base model w/moonroof AWD for 540/mo + taxes and fees
Both are 39 month leases- both seem high given the slow economy- any comments would be appreciated, I am new to leasing.

You're very welcome, Zack99. Yes, mileage allowance does have an impact upon vehicles' residual values. Ford Credit's 12,000 mile per year residuals are 2% higher than its 15,000 mile per year residuals. Its 10,500 mile per year resids are 3% higher than the 15k resids.
Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2009 Lincoln MKS 2WD with 15,000 miles per year are 2.0% and 48%, respectively.
