2003 Sonoma SL Running Rough and Full Gas Tank? by thunderfyre

My Sonoma had a problem last week where it would crank but not turn over. It started with no problem after I coasted down a hill and popped the clutch. It ran fine for a week.

Now, it has sluggish acceleration and sounds like it missing on 1 cylinder.

I drove for a week on a full tank and the gauge read 1/2 tank of gas. I went to a gas station and left the truck running while the attendant (yes, I live in NJ where we're not allowed to pump our own gas) tried to pump the gas. The pump kept stopping after a few seconds. The attendant kept trying and then gas was coming out of the gas spout on the truck meaning it was full.

What could be the problem? I inherited the truck with a 114,000 miles a few months ago and still learning about the make-up of the engine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
