intermitant operating keyless entry pad

The keyless door pad on my 99 MGM works only rarley, but the dome light and keypad light turn on,(activate), with just the slightest noise near the car. I have found some on e-bay but they are all different part numbers. Is this something that can be tweeked, and fixed, and if not can someone help with a good part number? Replying to: silvereye (Jul 01, 2008 6:39 pm) Sometimes every once in a while electric devices will reset themselves if you disconnect the battery's Negative cable for about 10 minutes and then reconnect it.
