Replying to: musicejr (Jun 29, 2008 1:47 am) I have 2005 Deville base model. It's the same car without some of the options. It has been excellent. I have just over 30000 miles on it. I would have the Dexcool flushed and changed by a dealer. I just had mined done. Forget the 5 years or 150,000 miles on coolant. That's not a good idea. Also, the car does not need premium fuel. Runs great on 87 octane. Premium fuel can cause carbon build up easier than 87 in the Northstar. It's really a performance engine. It gets 26-27 mpg on the highway. Not great in town. It handles decent for a 4000 lb. front drive large car.
