Replying to: lexkyxfire (Jun 25, 2008 5:02 pm) Exact same thing happened to me on June 11th at a 92 octane BP pump in KCK just off I-70. Tank drained....OK now. Owner of station discovered June 8th shipment was not pure gas....this load had 10% ETOH. He said you can't put ETOH fuel in a station tank unless it has a specific type of water removal system. Supplier agreed to reimburse me for all expenses. But, last night on the nightly news......local....TV....bad gas(BP) delivered to Topeka-Lawrence-Leavenworth Kansas. Replying to: lexkyxfire (Jun 26, 2008 7:49 am) According to the TV & newspaper some BP gas stations have had (they admit) diesal fuel contaminating their gasoline. They say Topeka-Lawrence-Fort Leavenworth.   They claim since mine was in KCK....mine was something else....probably water.....????
