I have an "06" Ram 1500 Quad Cab with 5.7 Hemi. Pulling a 6'X10' cargo trailer daily approc weight 3,000lbs. Trailer is just a little taller than the cab. I get about 9.0 MPG city & 12MPG highway at 65 MPH. It feels like I am pulling a boat anchor behind me. I was wondering if I used a bed topper with the up sweped rear end, if the areo would improve MPG. I think it's the wind resistance of the trailer that is pulling the MPG down. Does anyone have any thoughts the fuel cost is killing me, $4.09/gal. it is costing me around $200.00 a week in gas

You may be able to get away with a spoiler of sorts mounted on the roof of the truck but ideally you'd probably want a cap on the truck (same height as the truck) and that may help a bit in MPGs.
