Replying to: uplanderguy (Jun 13, 2008 2:48 am) The same thing happened with my bowtie on my Equinox and the dealer replaced it on warranty with no problem. But here we are talking about a "missing peace" and those letters or names on a body are glued like you wouldn't believe. How can you drive around and louse a letter? It has to be vandalism. Ever noticed the round (blue and white) B.M.W. emblem that are always stolen from their hoods? It happened 4 times on my sisters car. Those things can't fall off by their own. When they install those letters or names it's a peel off paper and you then stick the letter on the car and better make sure it's straight before putting pressure or else you're done. I saw some of those come off on 6 yrs models and over but on a new model. Never. Must have pretty rough roads, I'm thinking more of a rough neighborhood. |
