Yeah of course, I wasn't really trying to make any statement about the 4Mil, I was just saying, I noticed it was moving a lot today and I though I'd play along.

I might still try dumping the rest, but I thought with all the retires comming up in August, and then with the second day in September being an IPO Tuesday and it ending on a Tuesday and 3 IPOs between (5 IPOs in 1 month!), that might be a good one for me, unless I make to much on the retireries.

When you are dumping, make sure you don't go below 1M. you will be ineligible for the prize. Believe me or not, it is hard to lose precise amount of money.

Quote from Prize link:

Thanks, I remember you mentioning that before. I thought I'd stop if I got close to like $1.1Mil
When you were trying to lose money, did you try shorting IPOs right when they open?

Since we don't have super fast computer like you do, I usually short right when they open. Since my computer is slow enough, I usually get the peak price to short.

It is easy to lose money when you have 3~4M since you can influence the price dramtically. When I had around 1.5M and trying to lose, I usually bought most increased stock (sorted by % change) and shorted the most decreased stock in shares of 2000 or less. I think on May 29th I got below 1M and I panic. Make sure you hold less than 3 stock at time during this time period since you do not know what crazy thing could happen. Of course I cashed everything on May 30th. Thats why I do not have exactly 1M to start with but more like, 1.07M or something like that. Better be safe than sorry.

I know how to play this game, but it is impossible making 400% profit in a day.
Go to Wall street. You can be another Bill Gates in 10 days.

definitely not in 1 day starting with a mil...20 days...starting with 200k or so. yes I have been busting my ass to get to this point. I will be disappointed if one man with a cheat program screws me up.

Don't worry. Mike isn't kidding when he says they monitor the big gainers. If somebody is cheating, they won't get away with it.

I'm still on the fence on a wealth dump. I would like to go for next months prize, but I'm also considering how handy it would be to have around 6 mil. or more to mess with when stocks start to retire. Decisions... decisions...

i am thinking about august as well... but it seems too many factors too calculate in order to win... i will probably not dump next month and keep rolling to august as a practice run... of course it all depends what will be the prize for august
