Recently my 93 MPV started acting like it was running out of gas while driving down the interstate. I pulled over, checked things out then it started back up. I drove to a gas station and filled it up and carried on. Now the low fuel light comes on when the gauge is showing a 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank and the van starts to run rough like she's starved for fuel again. My question is I think it is in the fuel pump area but is there a different sensor on the pump for the gauge and one for the fuel light? Is there a separate fuel pressure regulator someplace that maybe I should check first? My Haynes manual is a bit sketchy on this one. Just for FYI in case needed, it is the V-6 with just under 200k on the clock, 2wd model. She's been a good van that I hope to get more miles out of but things are starting to show their age now.
