We have just received our Chrysler 2008 T&C/Grand Voyager (yes, it is called that in Belgium) Limited (2.8l Diesel). Very nice car, but at one point we were disappointed. In the european/belgian version the automatic functioning of the HID headlights is not standard and not even available as option. Sadly enough the user manual explains how to use it and even the sales documentation mentions it, but with little letters that the content of the document is not binding and can change from country to country. After having several cars with the automatic headlights option installed now we already forgot to turn of the lights more than once regardless the soft beeping warning sound. However, it seems that the light sensor is present because the headlights turn on at nightfall while unlocking the doors. It makes you wonder why they did not install such feature by default for a car costing 55k EURO in Belgium. It makes me more wonder if with a simple light switch or panel change it is easy to install it. Does anybody knows more about it? A part number will be ok so I might try to order it through the local Chrysler dealer and have it installed by them. Thanks for all help! Frank
